In 2003, Bruno Bureau was the first deputy to the mayor of Salles, Vincent Nuchy, first of the presidents of the CdC. At his side, Alain Peronnau, mayor of Belin-Béliet and general councilor of the canton now deceased, Danièle Born, mayor of Barp and only woman in office, Didier Baillet, mayor of Lugos and Philippe Lacoste, mayor of Saint-Magne .

A “club of five” which over the years has seen its majority lean from left to right, welcoming new mayors and presidents at its head. However, Bruno Bureau, who will sail from the majority to the opposition, praised the “spirit of solidarity” which will have animated them all.

We were aware of participating in a real human adventure, one that allows us to go beyond the limits of our steeples and our political differences.
