In 2022, this global movement of generosity celebrated its 5th anniversary in France and its 10th anniversary worldwide. It generated a wave of unparalleled generosity.

Donations in the United States alone are estimated to have totaled $3.1 billion, representing a 15% increase from GivingTuesday 2021 and a 25% increase since 2020. Despite ongoing crisis and uncertainties , GivingTuesday continues to unite communities around a common mission, to build a better world in more than 150 countries.

In France, the movement brought together more than 267 participating actions and structures this year in France: associations, students, companies, foundations, communities, individuals. It is now available in #GivingTuesday for Sport and #GivingTuesday for the planet.

The Giving Tuesday will take place on Tuesday, November 28 in 2023 but beyond this D-Day, the idea is to highlight the actors of generosity all year round, as the actions are numerous, the actors varied and the needs immense. .

A positive, collective and creative alternative to the Black Friday and Cyber ​​Monday consumer movements, Giving Tuesday invites the public to take action with 5 concrete forms of donation: financial donation, skill donation, voice donation, donation in kind, blood donation. Finally, Giving Tuesday is part of a larger movement of cooperation for the planet and its inhabitants, in parallel with operations such as Green Friday, Buy Nothing Day or Take Back Friday which together mark an important change in favor of the environment. environment, the use of resources and solidarity.
