The Pupaclown Stage Center presents its spring 2023 program, with 9 shows

The family programming, which will be on Saturdays, will begin on February 11 and will last until the last weekend of April

The Pupaclown Foundation has made public this Thursday the programming scheduled for the first quarter of 2023, which will fill the Pupaclown Stage Center with the different theatrical disciplines designed for the little ones in the house.

The performances will take place on Saturdays, at 6:00 p.m., from February to April and there will be nine performances of seven different shows designed to be enjoyed by the family, according to sources from the Foundation in a statement.

The Program that is carried out thanks to the collaboration of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts of the Region of Murcia (ICA) and the Murcia City Council will include traditional tales, theatre, puppets, music and clowns brought by companies that are mostly Murcian.

It will begin on Saturday, February 11, at 6:00 p.m. with the most acclaimed work of the Pupaclown Company, ‘The 3 Little Pigs’, a fun family show, from 3 years old, in which young and old will share laughter and emotions with the ingenious occurrences of the little pigs to scare away the energetic and hungry wolf.

This show will be at the Stage Center on two more occasions this spring, it will be on March 25 and April 22.

The following Saturday, February 18, the La Carreta Teatro company will bring from Elche its ‘Mowgli: The Jungle Book’, a reflective puppet and actor play in which, respecting Kipling’s original story, shows such important values ​​as family, the power of friendship and respect for the environment.

On February 25 it is the turn of the hospital clowns. Membrilla, Golosino and Pipa Salá once again put themselves in the hands of the actress, screenwriter and director Beatriz Maciá in the latest production of the Pupaclown Company ‘Y Entonces… Cataplán’.

The work takes the viewer on a hilarious journey into wonderful tales using an agile, vindictive, intelligent and above all very funny text.

On the first Saturday of April, the prolific Murcian puppet theater company Los Claveles arrives at Pupaclown with a show for early childhood, ‘El Hada Hermosinda’, for audiences from two years old. Paca García and Aniceto Roca give life to this imaginative fairy who only wants to help her friends, but her wand is made of cardboard and sometimes it doesn’t work as she expected.

On Saturday, March 11, the Periferia Teatro company returns to the Pupaclown Stage Center with its award-winning show ‘Nube Nube’, winner of the FETEN 2020 Best Puppet and Object Show Award, among others. A review, from humor and love, of what “we are capable of doing to love and to be loved”, according to the Foundation, which specifies that it is a show of actresses and puppets for the public from 4 years of age.

The Pupaclown Company returns with another classic tale on Saturday, March 18, ‘The 7 Little Goats’, where the dimwitted big bad wolf will once again rack his brains trying to catch the delicious little goats. A fun adaptation of the story that the whole family will enjoy.

The last 3 shows will also be carried out by the Pupaclown company. Thus, on March 25 and April 22, attendees will return to the forest of ‘The 3 Little Pigs’ and, to close the spring programme, the company will bring on Saturday April 29 a show to look inside, a work on emotions, how to recognize and manage them.

Bruno and Estela’s Adventure, where Bruno’s little brother ‘El Nuevo’ does not stop crying. The two friends will try to find out what makes him sad, they need a plan to make the baby laugh. A show directed by Luisma Soriano and performed by Alfonso López and Pepa Astillero.

Seeking that the integration of people with different abilities is complete, Pupaclown will return, as in each Festival, to program one of its shows Also interpreted in Sign Language and another Audiodescribed in collaboration with ONCE

The entrance price is 8 euros for all the shows.

Pupaclown continues to bet on the Performing Arts as a fundamental part in the education of the little ones in the house, for that, it will continue this quarter with a wide School Campaign for infants, primary and secondary schools. It will have 32 performances of 8 different shows.
