Pinar del Río, Jan 27 (ACN) Ulises Guilarte by Birthmember of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and general secretary of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC), pondered today in Pinar del Río the role of the organization in the battle for productive efficiency, in a context of macroeconomic imbalances.
During the national act for the 84th anniversary of the CTC in the westernmost province, he insisted on the need for a greater contribution from the labor groups, especially to achieve the trembling that the socialist state company requires.
In this sense, he highlighted the systematic follow-up from the Central to the actors that operate in the national economy, to the systems of payments and distribution of profits and the multiplication of work environments that affect the fulfillment of the productive goals.
Likewise, it continues to be vital to promote the debate on issues of interest in the workers’ assemblies and to carry out transparent accountability on the part of the employers, in order to achieve a response or solution to the demands of the workers.
Guilarte de Nacimiento highlighted the work of the workers, union cadres and the people of Pinar del Río in recovering the damages caused by Ian, one of the reasons why it deserved the venue for the national act, held at the Dairy Products Company and Raúl Fornell Delgado Confectionery.
Representing the Agriculture, Education, Health and Civil Defense unions, seven workers received the Jesús Menéndez medal, conferred by presidential decree at the proposal of the CTC.

Likewise, Francisco Javier Sabat González, a pilgrim teacher, was honored with the 80th anniversary seal of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba; and the Empresa de Productos Lácteos, with the National Vanguard flag for diversifying its productions in 2022.
Two workers from that entity were recognized with the October 8 seal, a stimulus given by the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers.
The Martha Machado brigade, constituted and led by the plastic artist Alexis Leiva Machado (Kcho), received the Labor Prowess flag for being present with their artistic and constructive work in Pinar del Río, in the recovery of school, social and care.
The act was also attended by Julio César García Rodríguez, member of the Central Committee and head of the office for attention to the Union of Young Communists, mass organizations, Popular Power and the legal sector; the highest authorities of the province; among others.
