Priolo, school orientation, an afternoon in the laboratories of “Ruiz”

PRIOLO GARGALLO – The Priolo headquarters of theHigher Institute “Gaetano Arangio Ruiz” will reopen its doors, in via Orazio Di Mauro n. 2, to students attending the third grade of secondary school and their parents, this Thursday 19 January from 15 to 18.

This is the second “Ruiz Priolo Open lab” (third open day from December), after the morning one on 14 January, this time in the afternoon to discuss with the teachers, get to know all the characteristics of the educational offer, carry out laboratory experiences relating to the articulation Electronics and Electrical Engineering of the sector technical institute Technological. An opportunity, therefore, to get to know the courses, the teachers and the innovations foreseen for the next school year, which will inaugurate the presence of a three-year class.

Pupils and parents will be welcomed by the teachers of the guidance team, led by the lecturer Tania Rizzotti. The specifics of the various courses, the contents and teaching methodologies, the organization of the disciplines and all the projects that enrich and integrate the training offer will be analysed.

“At the Technical Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering – reads the note from the school – the student develops skills that can be used immediately in the world of work and at the same time acquires the right preparation to access technical and scientific faculties. After the two-year period, the “Ruiz” offers valid Pcto experiences with leading companies in the area and multinationals in the sector, as well as training courses for the achievement of certifications that can be used in the world of work such as the “Robotics License”, that of piloting drones or the Icdl license of the computer”.

“The Institute, always attentive to cultural evolution, to the students’ training needs and to the most significant aspects of scientific-technological development – continues the note – over the years has in fact innovated the contents and teaching methods by offering students a wide range of training strategies for a complete knowledge of the reference scientific sector thanks to laboratory teaching and a careful look at technological innovation”.

It is announced that during the “Ruiz Priolo Open lab” families will also be able to take advantage of any technical support to carry out the online enrollment application. The last opportunity to visit school and workshops will be held Thursday 26 January, always in the afternoon from 15 to 18.
