After a first offensive without consequence where a few snowflakes whitened the lawns or even the windshields, the second offensive was more virulent, especially in the east of the department. The snow fell in quantity especially in Villeneuvois and Fumélois. The sector close to the Dordogne department is the most affected.

This Friday, January 21, the circulation of school buses is therefore prohibited throughout the east of the department, the part most affected by snowfall. The road network was affected by a snowpack, making traffic conditions more complicated. Especially this Friday morning with a significant risk of ice.
Thus, school bus is prohibited in 86 municipalities of Lot-et-Garonne, until noon. This decision was made due to unfavorable conditions. The prefect of Lot-et-Garonne has signed a prefectural decree prohibiting school bus service since midnight. A measure that will be in effect until noon.
