HAS Cahorsin the Batchthe 2023 program of animation to the Grand Cahors media library promises to be very rich, with in particular a first participation in the Mycéliades in February.

After two years under health restrictions, the Grand Cahors Media Library and its network of libraries and media libraries, recovered in 2022, with a strong increase in attendance. 450 people benefited from thefree registration, last October, at theoccasion of 20 years of the Mediatheque.

Meetings around comics in Cahors

For this beginning ofyear 2023, through several highlights and appointments, the Mediatheque of Grand Cahors has concocted an enticing program, showing the diversity ofcultural offer, from novel to digital, through music and film.

the Tuesday, January 10, 2023at 6 p.m., Vanessa Calas, a psychotherapist based in Pradines, will lead a conference-debate “Living and growing up with screens », in partnership with Pluri Santé 46.

The 1st cultural highlight of theyear 2023 will take place from January 10 to March 4in partnership with the Lot Departmental Loan Library, “ VSwhat is comics ? », a new event around comics.

During this period, an exhibition, accessible from 10 years, will show the techniques of makinga comic book. Subscriptions

For 2023, the participation to access the services of the Grand Cahors Media Library and its network does not vary. The subscription is 5 € for the inhabitants of Grand Cahors for those over 18, 2 € for students, job seekers, and recipients of social minima and free for those under 18.

For people outside Grand Cahors, subscription at €2 for those under 18, at €10 normal rate, with a reduced rate of €4, for students, unemployed, RSA-ists and other holders of social minima. This rate allows you to borrow for 4 weeks: 10 books, 10 CDs, 10 DVDs, 10 magazines, 1 tablet or e-reader, 10 books read, 8 digital books and 8 videos on demand.
