The educational paths of the “Educational Alliances” project co-financed and implemented by the Municipality and supported with 21,480 euros from the “Contrast to biopsychosocial discomfort” tender of the Region will begin in February, with the creation of groups of students and with the co-planning of the laboratories. The project is aimed at children and young people with learning difficulties also linked to socio-economic, linguistic, cultural, behavioral and relationship factors, who do not have the possibility of accessing specific tools and paths due to economic or family difficulties. Realities that are registering a significant increase, both in the educational gap and in the number of very young people interested in the phenomena, especially in the post-pandemic period. “Alleanze Educanti” will consist of a series of meetings, carried out both in curricular and extracurricular hours, individual or in small work groups, in which the presence of a specialist tutor is foreseen. Open meetings will also be periodically organized, in which teachers and parents will participate to verify and share the paths undertaken. To carry out the activities, in synergy with the school, will be two realities of the Third sector, the associations “Human beings” “Sintra”. The activities, which will continue until the end of the 2023/204 school year, will aim at the pupil’s motivational recovery and will offer tools and methods to improve the organization of school work, starting with homework and lesson preparation, establishing a custom type report.

Main objectives, inclusion and achievement of the objectives of the study path. To date, the Municipality supports, with its own resources, 220 weekly hours of specialized educational assistance for minors with disabilities, in order to facilitate and implement the various inclusive programs implemented by the schools. But that’s not always enough. “Our project – explains the deputy mayor Agnese Orlandini – intends to reach those children with non-certified school difficulties who do not always find adequate support, despite the great efforts of the school system. The context of the epidemiological emergency has exacerbated these fragilities: learning disorders, problematic emotional conditions, precarious family situations, early school leaving, school and social phobias, all phenomena that we have seen worsening after Covid”. The two comprehensive schools of Rivalta and Tetti Francesi will be involved in the project, each of which will identify the pupils to be assigned to the working groups. Furthermore, the Municipality is among the 61 municipalities in the province of Turin receiving a loan of 10 thousand euros from the Region for the benefit of the Civil Protection group. With these resources it will be possible to replace and renew the clothing and uniforms of the volunteers. The hope is that during the year it will be possible to find additional resources also for equipment and instruments, so that the volunteers can operate more effectively in the area.
