Lazaro Cardenas, Michoacan. Before its renewal, the board of directors of the College of Public Accountants Las Truchas reaffirms its intention to open up the range of services provided by the Tax Administration Service (SAT) in this municipality, with the understanding that Lázaro Cárdenas continues to be one one of the largest taxpayers at the state level because the largest companies in Michoacán are located here.
The recently elected president of the College of Accountants in this municipality, Fredy Pino de la Cruz, confirmed the above in the framework of a meeting with representatives of various media before whom he shared the tasks and objectives of this organization of civil society. after its renewal.
“We as a Federated College is what we work on and a lot in the meetings where we address all those complaints that come to us, from our clients and from those who have our partners, which we send to the Mexican Institute of Accountants and they They comment to the authority that some take them and some don’t,” Fredy Pino de la Cruz replied.
The representative of the College, which is part of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants, indicated recalling that Michoacán was divided into two regions that were Morelia and Uruapan that concentrated Zamora, Apatzingán and Lázaro Cárdenas, which changed with the federal government in turn and before the system in the Tax Administration Service.
“That harmed us taxpayers here in Lázaro Cárdenas because they send us to Morelia, it is no longer even Uruapan, previously there were two administrations as such and now it is only in the capital, so many procedures have to be done there,” he shared.
The representative of the public accountants organized in response to this responded that part of what this organization wants to work with the authorities is to find what the College has always sought and that is that an administration could be opened in this municipality with more services for part of the SAT “because Lázaro Cárdenas represents the majority of the tax revenues in Michoacán.”
“There has always been a fight for that, initially the SAT office was at the post office and it was through various steps taken by the College and the Institute of Accountants, as well as by the Chambers that it was possible for the offices where they are currently open ”, shared the interviewee.
Pino de la Cruz highlighted that the SAT offices in Lázaro Cárdenas not only serve local taxpayers, but also those from neighboring Michoacán municipalities and even from municipalities in the State of Guerrero.
Upon express question, he revealed that there are various procedures, such as the electronic signature for legal entities, which unfortunately have been removed in Lázaro Cárdenas.
“That here we can no longer do them and that inhibits the opening of tax activities by legal entities, because to get an appointment our clients have had to go wherever there is one, even if it is outside the State.”
These, said the now president of the College of Accountants, are among the procedures that are being worked on with the tax authority so that they return here to the city of Lázaro Cárdenas due to the volume of taxpayers.
“Of the most important procedures, such as the electronic signature and those of natural persons, are the only ones that can be done here in Lázaro Cárdenas,” said the interviewee, “but if I want to make an electronic signature or register a legal entity Those are procedures that we cannot do here.”
In this context, Accountant Pino de la Cruz made it clear that it is necessary to recognize that there are several procedures that can be done through the electronic page available to the SAT: “If I want to register through the SAT page, I will not You can, before there was a possibility of me being able to process my RFC (Federal Taxpayer Registry) through the SAT page, but they already removed it.
