The Official College of Pharmacists of Madrid (COFM) turns 125, and one of its first actions has been to change its brand image. The objective of this initiative is to champion the new times that the corporation lives since the arrival of its current Governing Boardlast April.
The new logo represents closeness, transparency and the search for improvement of services to patients in particular and to society in general, who are in the basis of the commitment of Madrid pharmacists.
“The COVID-19 pandemic showed perhaps more than ever the added value that pharmacists bring to society. This experience led us to assume, even more willingly, our great responsibility and to better understand the importance of reinforcing our commitment to people’s health, based on a greater collaboration with the health system and attentive listening to the needs of the population”, affirms the president of the COFM, Manuel Martinez del Peral.
The emblem uses pure forms, without recesses, that fit and support each other to evoke closeness and collaboration.

Closer to you
under the motto “The pharmacists of Madrid want to be closer to you every day”By helping you take care of your health, the College renews before society the professional commitment and willingness of pharmacists to serve from their different fields of activity.
For all this, the College has been working with the Madrid Health Administration on instruments such as the Pharmaceutical Management and Care Lawapproved by the Madrid Assembly on December 15, and the Concert between the Ministry of Health and the COFM for pharmacies, whose signing is expected in the near future. Both the law and the Agreement promote the role of pharmacists in health care, say the COFM.
The College finalizes a Strategic Plan aimed at renewing its structure and services and thus strengthening its help to pharmacists so that they can face the new responsibilities they assume.
